Cox Communications in Las Vegas, Nevada - Change in format of easy listening channel

No history of the artist who wrote the songs. Very poor background with pop up commercials that are very distracting. You surely were not thinking about your dedicated customers when you changed your format to be like a commercial channel. I am at this time considering canceling Cox Cable for Direct TV if this is not changed back in the near future. I have spoke to many people that feel the same way I do. My wife and I are senior citizens and the easy listening channels was our life. We would appreciate you changing back to what you had, as we have never had a problem with your cable up until this point.

I apologize for any misunderstanding concerning installation fees associated with this account. I can confirm that it is indeed a requirement that professional installation be done at addresses which satellite TV service is installed.

This is to ensure that the satellite and cable lines remain separate to prevent noise from leaking into our systems and potentially disrupting service to our customers. If you require any further assistance with this matter please feel free to email me at coxhelp@cox.com.

Crying? you're funny.

You may be the type to allow someone to disrespect you or your loved ones without complaint. I however, am not.

Is this part of your job at Cox, or are you just on break? Enjoy your life of getting treated like dirt, don't take it out on others who don't put up with that sort of thing.

Cox Communications in Chesapeake, Virginia - Terms of $200 rebate not disclosed

I moved my phone, TV and Internet to Cox. I printed out all online chats and e-mails and made notes about my phone conversations with Cox. I was promised a $200 rebate for signing up. When I did not receive a check or a credit on my first bill, I called Cox. The first rep I talked with said I would receive a check. The second rep who cut in on our conversation said that I would receive the rebate as two $100 credits to my bill at 12 and 24 months. No where was this disclosed in my conversations with Cox (I made notes of our conversations) or in the info I saved onto my computer. I have little faith that I will receive the credits as promised next year and in 2013. COX IS TOTALLY UNETHICIAL IN THEIR CUSTOMER RELATIONS, completely contrary to their smiley "we're here to help" advertising.

Always take the time to read the Terms of Service BEFORE you agree and sign it!

I went to their website and within just a few minutes of reading the ToS (that you agreed to!!) I found where it very clearly states that the $200 "Bill credit applied in month 13 and month 24."

It's not their fault you didn't read and understand before agreeing - that's your fault.

Hi Chesapeake,

If I was promised a rebate and didn't get one, I'd be HOT! I certainly appreciate your aggravation with this situation. I've heard of the $200 rebates, but I'm not familiar with all the details. I would REALLY like to investigate your situation and help get this resolved for you! Please send me your address, phone #, and the name on your account to coxhelp@cox.com. I'll help you get to the bottom of this!

-Becky

You could have just asked a friend if they had one they werent using or found one at walmart or somewhere for cheaper than they are offering. Definitely dont rent them, although if it goes bad and is not under warranty youd have to buy another.
