Cox Communications - $300.00 gift Card that wasn't
We responded to the $300 gift card offer. The service department showed up promptly - THE GIFT CARD STILL HASN'T ARRIVED.
7 MONTHS AND THREE PHONE CALLS LATER.
The sweet people who took the initial inquiry seemed to want to expedite my rebate - wrong. Subsequent calls landed me in an endless QUE with no one even picking u[ the line - dang caller ID.
$300 is not worth a legal fight so I won't bother unless someone initiates a Class Action - then I'll join in with pleasure.
The one thing I can (And Will) do is disconnect went my two year agreement has expired. I'm an old man, but my neighbors will walk me through cutting-the-cord.

Call retention. Tell them you are fed up with their lies and if they do not credit the $300 then you will cancel.
Retention can sometimes pull wonders.
However, in this case I would just go back to a competing company and get a "new customer deal".
