Cox Communications - My opinion..

I read everyone's complaints..I have been with Cox for over 20 years NOW... I AM EXTREMELY happy with Cox.. I have NEVER had any issues.. Their HIGH SPEED Internet is GREAT!!! NEVER AN ISSUE... MY Bill has NEVER GONE UP... I am just a Customer.. I am NOT employed by Cox.. I WANT EVERYONE TO KNOW, I AM PICKY!! COX IS THE BEST SERVICE EVER.. Those that are NOT happy probably have a tendency to complain about everything... Some people are NEVER PLEASED.. IF THESE COMPLAINING customers are NOT happy then WHY THE *** DO THEY CONTINUE their service with Cox??.. i know Why. These complaining customers know they WILL NEVER FIND ANOTHER COMPANY AS GOOD AS COX.. PLEASE EVERYONE BELIEVE WHAT I SAY, "COX IS GREAT!" They have EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE.... Cox Communications - COX "goes out" in my area all of the time and obviously they use bandaids to fix things because if they repaired it right it wouldn't "go out" so much.

All of the time in Sun City Summerlin COX "goes out". I have lived here 7 years all with COX and I would bet on 100 or more "outages". To me that means they do not want to spend enough money to fix it correctly once and strengthen their system in our area. I run my business out of my house and pay for the highest internet speed possible but the outages are just too much distraction. I have been with COX for 14 years but have never thought of them as a good company at all. Just a typical money grabbing USA corporation the likes of which are ruining our country. Louis J. COX is deceptive advertising their 'bundles" offering one price & then charging another more expensive amount after one year into a two year contract, leaving someone stuck and Responsible for the bill.

My 88 year old mother's Cox bill steadily increased over time to $205 per month...mind you for BASIC channels, nothing fancy...this is a ridiculous amount to pay...sooo I went with Direct TV...no installation fee and $50 per month...all the channels you could want!...

The bill keeps going up. When calling to reduce un needed services they claim reducing will cause the bill to be higher due to "bundle" pricing. How can they carry on like this? It's blackmail!

This is how they get you with all the "so called" one time service fees etc., bill goes up every month and I have been trying to disconnect services for over two weks . Put on hold for 40 min plus and then get disconnected, while all the time getting charged for services I don't use anymore.

I have been with cox for years and was thinking of returning , once I caughy up financially, but all the hassle of this has definetly changed my mind. Very dissatisfied customer!

A show I was trying to watch wasn't working and they reset my cable box. That didn't do anything so they put me in "escalations" then I waited 20 plus minutes without anyone helping me. So I hung up and called again, went through the same ordeal, and they finally told me there was nothing more they could do... I pay almost 200 dollars a month for their product, they should be able to do something.

Cox Communications - A joke

I was proactive and had all my utilities setup in the house I was moving to 30 days in advance, that was July 15. When I moved on aug 6 nothing except regular utilities. All the cox services did not work, cable, internet, home security. I have had techs out, bucket truck techs out, on the phone could add up to hours of my time wasted. Now in a week they are coming out again to wast some more of my time. What do I think of the service, there is no service! Great job cox. If you read this go somewhere else to get billed for 0 service because it might be cheaper. On a scale of 1 to 10. 10 being best they scored a 0 with me. Costing me time , work and the aggravation is not worth it, give me my *** wasted time back, can you do that cox.

I signed y for a 1 year contract for a set price. First bill came 2 weeks later. $38.00 more than what I was told. When I called they told me I was mistaken. I have tried to work with them for over 11 months. And my bill goes up every month for no reason. I had one conversation with a male from Cox that told me that he was from Oklahoma and had worked for them for 7years. He made filthy remarks about his co-workers, insulting the previous person and making jokes about his capabilities or lack there of. In conclusion, he stated that I should be happy with what I have and stop complaining. When I tried again to get assistance, they finally sent a SUB-Contractor to my home who bitched about the inferior wiring and connections made 11 months earlier by a COX rep. And afterwards, my bill went up again. I just want someone to give me a break. Any chance of that COX? You're a Comcast company. Why do you treat your customers so sub standardly?
