Cox Communications in Las Vegas, Nevada - Terrible Support - Cancelled before even started

Cox Communications tech support, loyalty, and Sales Store Offices have to be the MOST poorly organized company in the industry. They have basically a monopoly on service in Las Vegas, NV and treat customers that way. I ONLY WANTED Service. New build. After 6 weeks 4 trucks rolls, and counts HOURS on calls with your customer service to be transferred to tech to be transferred to loyalty (No idea why one dept. has more authority then another and I wasn't cancelling I was trying simply to get the Internet activated). the issue is COX messed up long before my house closed July 1st and didn't have the conduit finished. However they weekly sent techs ---wasting their time and mine. We knew the issue so why send the same team that couldn't do the work? Silly. Now after 6 weeks ....still no service, you TOOK my deposit for service...and I'm w/o a phone, TV, or internet for 6 weeks. POOR service all around

You are the worst company I have ever dealt with. You literally have a system in place to cheat people on late fees, raise prices. I'm sure there's a big suicide rate on your employees. When you will just die as a company? I would give my left nut for you to die and burn. What I can do to make this happen? I will throw my computer off of a cliff and eat the remains... Cox communications sucks

WORST company to deal with. I am repeatedly over charged when they tell me it's one price and it's 10x more. I had a guy come to the house to fix one thing and messed up another. Someone was suppose to come again, he never shows up then I get a voicemail that we missed him. He claims to have called, rang the door bell and left a note on the door. He did none of the above because I was standing in my kitchen waiting for him and there is no note on any doors. I have been on the phone with them every day for over an hour for 7 days straight with no results. After 26 years with cox communications I think I will be cancelling services because I've had enough.

We have been trying to resolve issues on our bill for 4 months now. We are being billed for services we do not receive and in no way did we authorize. Our bill went from a pkg. deal of $140.00 +tax. All of a sudden our bill is $260.00 a month. My husband and I are both disabled. My husband with cancer and my back living in a wheelchair now. We live off 1800.00/month and never would have agreed to an increase of that amt. There customer service, collections, Billing, and corporate office are a bunch of robots and the Tin Man without a heart. Every time we call it's the same over and over again. Attempting to work out pymt arrangements. And it's still the same over and over again. Give us $600 and we will turn you back on. We can't afford that much. We asked if we can pay our regular bill and add extra $$ to get caught up. Out came the robot again. Programmed ppl. with no feelings no personality. We were told today if we pay $268.00 they will turn us off on the 11th. I'm so fed up we are ready to change providers.

Cox Communications - Unacceptable charge on my bill

I called to see if I could get a reduced rate for my bill, thinking that they might be offering an incentive package. They proceded to remove my cox solutions program without telling me. When I discovered that I no longer had the service I called to find out why. I told them someone removed it without my OK and would they please reinstate it. They said they would but not it will cost me $100 to reconnect it. I said I should not have to pay for someone's mistake and after speaking to a supervisor, Dennis, I was assured that it would be taken care of and tho $100 was already on my bill, it would be deducted $33.33 a time for 3 months. I received my bill for July and it was not deducted, but showed 99.99 removed, and then 33.33 re-added!. I spoke to 2 different people who could not understand why I do not want to pay the extra 33.33 again. I must have talked for30 minutes or more,and could never make them understand why I think they are overcharging me, through no fault of my own. I am at a loss as to how to handle this, so I guess I will have to *** the bullet and pay for something that is not my fault.

I went into the Cox store near 51st and Mingo, in Tulsa, Ok. today to have my internet changed to try and save some money. I take care of 3 Cox accounts, my parent, my oldest son's and my family. Two weeks ago, I went into the same Cox location to see about saving some money on the internet at my home. The gentleman I spoke with talked me into getting a better/faster internet for a few dollars more of what I was paying. So today, I took my oldest son up to Cox to get him the same deal, if we couldn't get him a lower price. The first person that we met was a young man by the name of Jason. After telling him what we wanted to do, he kept telling me that we were not able to do that and if we lowered the internet speed it would only save my son $5. I also told him that I want to put my son's internet under his name. I had put under my name when he first moved into his apartment. Jason then told us it would cost $20 to $30 to just do a name change. I told him that I wanted to speak to a manager. He then continues to talk back to me. I kept repeating that I wanted to talk to a manager. Finally as he is walking off to get a manager he decides he wants to get the last word. At the top of his voice he exclaims "WOW"! Finally a manager named Dani comes to help us out. I tell her what I wanted to do and she also proceeds to tell me the same thing. When I asked why I was not able to get the same deal I had gotten on my internet for my home, for my son. She says that offer has expired. I told my son just pay his bill and I would take care of this because this was totally uncalled for. He paid his bill and we left. I sat out in the Cox parking lot and called Cox. Lo and behold, after talking with a person on the phone, I found out the the same deal that I had received was still available. In fact it was a dollar or two cheaper. So we left the Cox building in Tulsa. Went to a sub branch and was able to finish our transaction. All of this could have and should have been done with one stop. I dropped my cable with Cox because of the customer service and inferior equipment they have. I went to Directv and have not had any issues to date. When and if Directv is allowed to have internet service in our area, I will be getting rid of Cox for good. I hope that day comes soon.

My bill for cable, internet, and phone (which i don't need but was told was cheaper to include) was $245 .... for cable and internet!!! I've been a customer for over 25 years and this is their "loyalty" program. I told the gentleman i wanted the most basic tv i could get and internet and was told the price would be $195 a month! For basic cable and internet!! When i asked to speak to a manger he said he was a manager so that was no help. I will get great pleasure in returning my dvr and completely stop using Cox, going to Amazon fire stick!!!

Cox Communications - Bill goes from 'zero balance" from moving to 426.00 in one month

So, I have a bundle package with Cox started at 90.00 a month. two yrs later my package deal is coming to an end and luckily i'm moving. So I call to transfer service, they zero out my account ( without telling me that they are taking another 235.00 in payment off my CC. Then they told me that someone would come to my place and do a professional install witin two weeks, So I ask " can I just set it up myself and then you guys come in two weeks and do it." He says fine. Here we are 33 days later, No install, and i get a bill for 426.00 dollars. They say all my promotions fell off and my monthly bill is now 243.00 and that My balance is for a partial bill and a balance carry over from the previous address. WHAT??? they zero'd it out. Nope, they didn't according to their records, So the two 200.00 plus payments totaling more than 460.00 dollars that I made in June, wasn't enough. I"m so through with these guys. They have a monopoly, why are there no other cable companies? when I was a kid, I remember being able to pick from a couple of different cable co. No not dish companies, cable companies. how is this legal. It's either century link, a satellite company or Cox. There are two satellite companies, why can't there be two cable companies? I cancelled my services and called century link. Service is great, my modem and internet is great. and I'm only paying 40.00 a mo for TV and 25mbps for the first yr then 60.00 for the next. Still a boat load cheaper than any "package deal" that cox has. Oh, and Cox used to be prime cable, but when the lawsuits started mounting, they "rebranded" themselves as "cox communications" like they were a new company. haha, jokes on us. cancel your service and go with century link prism. You'll thank yourselves.

Just spoke to cox customer service to get my bundle changed so I'm not paying $200 a month...she said there is nothing she can do. Later in the convo I repeated that back to her...she denied saying it, then continued to say she ASSUMES there is nothing she can do to lower my bill..wtf? She asked me what she should change on my bill to lower it? Um hello? Shouldn't she be the expert on bundle rates and different plans? She said she has no more information on the plans than I do. Ugh! This was AFTER their phone lines were busy for 2 hours and I was on hold forever!

Cox Communications - Ruined my credit !

All of a sudden a bull collection showed up on my credit report from 2012 ! It's 2017. No one will help me resolve the issue and make this right . I'm suffering now because my credit went down and I can no longer qualify for a home for me and my kids
