Call two different days was told not disconnected when technician came out told me I was disconnected they still tell me I'm not disconnected technician told me they burned a modem up when they disconnected this all started two weeks ago when they downloaded new software for my Caller ID and now they deny it case number 459-1975

I submitted my Cox move online may 4th so ahead of time. My actual move in date is May 18th. I called may 16th 2017 to set up a time and they have no record of me submitting anything. I was very frustrated I have the proof. Cox even said I gave them short notice and I didn't! I submitted my cox move may 4th. You guys are very unorganized because I not only did it online I called as well before to inform them I'm moving may 18th to have it switched​ and still they have no record of that? I was already frustrated I gave the confirmation number through email then they finally found it and said yea we see it but nothing was done like it wasn't taken core of? Unprofessional and unorganized! Also the apartment number we are moving to I guess Cox blocked that apartment number due to the previous owners running up the bill and not paying it. Well that's not my problem I had to stay another hour on the phone for Cox to fix this I even had to get my apartment office lady on three way to deal with this because Cox needed a name of the previous owner to fix this block. Why I had to suffer another hour dealing with this is rediculous!!

First of all I would like to say I'm sorry to hear of your situation with Cox. What Cox is consistent on is Deceptive Trade Practice. All the time you waste on the phone going back and forth in a whirlwind of the biggest circle *** imaginable, is only a game they play. There are no Federal or State agencies that will protect the lonely consumer as you will find this out to be true if you pursue this matter. They already know that your limited in available actions to recoup what they Fraudulently steal from you and will stand behind their lies and deception because of it. I have personally spent the last two years being thrown under the rug by the F.C.C. , and other State agencies while Cox is allowed to Harm the public / consumer in anyway they see fit. Your frustrations will put you over the edge as you are made aware that the Government that is supposed to protect your consumer rights through Tariffs and Acts will not help you in any way. I have myself over 100 documents proving without a doubt that Cox violated just about every rule and law starting with fraud and over a nine month period cost a small company to lose its business license, and thousands of dollars out of my pocket trying to undue their illegal actions and to get anyone to help. Because its just you or myself we are not looked at as the "The greater or best interest of the Public". Even when they knowingly destroy a customer through fraudulent bills and statements, fake and I have proof they are fake work orders and Contracts trying to cover up the fact that they stole $561.49 from a business checking account and credited someone else on their residential account. That transaction put the bank account into the negative and ended up closing the account because Cox would not put the money back. They sure said they would take care of it but at the 11th hour they went on Vacation and allowed the account to be closed on Christmas Eve no less. In disbelief and trying to keep the bank from turning it into Check systems I paid almost 3000.00 in fee's back to the bank because no account and no business license is how it works in Las Vegas. Then a week later Cox turns a Fraudulent equipment bill for 900.00 into a collection agency thus putting the nail into the lid of coffin sealing the fate of a small company. We have rights to protect us from this very thing derived from the Communications Act, Tariffs and all these Federal Protection agencies that just look the other way. Even when they have documents sitting right in front of their faces. I have done more research in the last year trying to make sense out of this and I will tell you this much is true. They don't give a *** about me or you! The F.C.C, P.U.C. and F.T.C. have fined Cox millions and millions of dollars over the years and maybe 2 % of it actually went towards relief of a Harmed consumer and I really can't tell you were the rest went but this much is a FACT, these fines do not stop the Cox from violating the same laws year after year and it takes two minutes to go back ten years and see that they continue to break the same rules over and over. They have a " Catch me if you can" policy and they don't care one bit about the consumer their past and present actions show the disregard they have for the common hard working everyday person. They are Habitual breakers of the law and allowed to continue only to be fined rather than thrown in prison like any other Habitual offender. At the minimum get their license revoked like any small business that tried operating the way they do. Like I said I'm sorry to hear what they stole from you. There are terms like Cramming and deceptive trade that outline what they have done and its legality just good luck trying to find anyone to support it. I don't want to say these agencies are crooked, its better to say they are just a waste of tax payer money and worthless to the actual consumer who has been raped and molested by "Big Business".

Since September of 2016 I have had numerous calls and techs come to my home. The issue still exists today because it is a neighborhood issue, not a one home issue! I work from home doing data entry and am constantly losing money because of this company. Horrible...

We have had the same type of issue here. I work from home as well.

Many tech visits and phone support and service is still AWFUL!! I kept paying to get the better plan and nothing helped.

Dropped back down as it didn't make a difference. Internet goes in and out.

I was told by cox cable that i should have a new router for my telephone. New technology was the reason. They came into my house and installed the new router. My phone system has not worked properly from that day. Cox recognized the problem and came back ten times trying to fix it, but finally said it was due to incompatibility between my phones and their equipment. I was in attendance for all the house repair visits which consumed a good deal of my time. Anyway the final answer was that i needed a new phone system. I suggest to Cox that since they ruined my phone system, they should supply a new one. The response was "We don't do that" My next suggestion was that Cox should at least tell me what phone systems would work. And the response again was "We don't do that either" Welcome to the wonderful world of Cox Communications!!!
