Worst company ever
Cox is the Worst Cable Provider in the US
Ordered service transfer online for 2 phone lines and Internet service 2 weeks prior to local move on Jan. 12, 2018.
I spoke to someone at Cox customer service who said everything was set on or about Wed. , Jan. 3, 2018. The following morning my phone was dead, contacted Cox Tech.
Supp. and was told the order was input incorrectly, spent 45 mins. to have phone restored by higher level tech., who assured me all of my service transfer needs were scheduled for Jan. 12, 2018.
Friday I received a call from Cox asking me if I cancelled my service transfer, explained everything, and they said it was all set then for Jan. 12, 2018. Today I receive a call from Cox saying no service transfer is set-up, asked for a supervisor, and told the soonest is now Jan. 16, 2018.
The absolute pinnacle of incompetence exists and abounds at Cox. I don't fee they care about their customers, and their respective needs at all. This is unprofessional, and needs to be corrected.
I need to have my services transferred and available on Jan. 12, 2018.

Nothing but a bunch of liars and the Loyalty Department is a joke.
Been told something different by everyone I talked to and they don't care. I was going to cancel everything so they said they would give me a special deal.
Never told me that they were going to take away certain channels that I watch. Talked to the Loyalty Department and said they would give the channels back at no extra cost. THEY NEVER GAVE THEM BACK! Call again and they said it would cost me a lot of money of I wanted them back.
I told them I was told that they would give them back at no extra cost and they said they cant do that. They said a supervisor would listen to the first phone conversation and give me a call back. NO ONE EVER CALLED ME BACK! I called them again and argued with them about what I was told and they acted like they didn't care.
I wasted a lot of time on the phone and got no where with them. I guess it dont matter that I've been with them for over 23 years. There is nothing loyal about the Loyalty department and most of them have no clue what they're doing. I was going to cancel about a month ago because my bill was too high and instead of lowering my bill it's the highest it's ever been this month.
THEY REALLY KNOW HOW TO RIP OFF THEIR COSTUMERS!!! If I can find something better I'm going to cancel everything.

cox is worst company ever I know . I live in Manchester, CT there is no other high speed internet company so I have no other option.
so I have to use cox, they increase the bill, worst customer service. every time when I call to change the service the tell you best price and change service . but they never change the service still be same, couple of time I record the call and employee id , they said sorry , but they never change the service, so I need call every other month to fix the bill , but they never listen , if I have money I will sue this company , to go out of business ,I never seen like that company in my 40 year life. cox company make people more sick .
because this company have no competition .
i will suggest everyone if you have any other option please don't use this company .there is no any personal issue with company . only my last 17 years company experience with this company .

What could possibly have prevented you from returning the equipment to the company, whose name sounds like how they act ... ?
You must learn to CYA and should have a nifty little receipt relieving you of obligation. You're probably not going to win this one and shouldn't have let it become a problem.
