I can top you on that one. I have a $100 amount one my credit report from AT&T because their accounting department is a bunch of idiots!

It's been 6+ years now, before I found out my ex was cheating and I divorced him, so maybe closer to 8 years. We got a new modem for our internet that they mailed us and than an installer came to the house and brought another modem. We sent the one back to AT&T and they credited one account $100, two tickets were open and than they charged the other one $100. So instead of them figuring this all out on their own, me explaining it to them 25+ times for so many hours, which would take a simple journal entry, zeroing each other out.

I have a negative mark on my credit and my ex is in that fricken house! So I understand your frustration more than you know my friend!!!

If you're in the market for cable and Internet look for other avenues because we have had nothing but problems. Deception and overpricing and then they didn't do what I asked them to do (even after confirmation of understanding my request) and am now being charged for a month I didn't even live in my new area. That's $121 for barely there internet speed and 14 channels (7 plus those same 7 in HD). GO SOMEWHERE else! Then they have the audacity to send us a nice little "get ya hooked while you're new" mail promotion that was the deal I asked for with more channels than previously advertised when I talked to them to set it up. This has been a terrible experience and I will be canceling my service and doing whatever I need to to not be price gouged and slapped in the face.

Has anybody ever noticed that whenever there is a show exposing the negative aspects of Scientology all of the sudden that channel has weak signal . Have noticed this on several different channels during different shows , nice censorship cox cable , you too must be controlled by the Hollywood elites . Very disappointing and will be canceling service .

Once again price increases. 7 times last year, To watch the same *** over an over again.I like how they just send a bill for more money. I think the company should let the people that pay for it pick there own channels. Not pay for all the *** channels you give us with bundles. I,m going to pay my bill in pennys this month at cox cable. You want your money every month with the increase in price. You will now work for it. Lmao

Just wait my bill has gone up and up from may 2016 started at 105, today it's 147. Called they told me promotions had fallen off, said they would look for other promotions, came back your bullish now 143.

Wow thanks COX. Customer of 20 plus years you think you could do better.

Cox Communications - Home Security Scam

I just found out that I can pay $99 to have a technician come out and take the home security down & install in the new apartment, take it down my self & if I accidentally break anything pay $199 or cancel service & pay $300 penalty. I have been with cox for ten years and have never been treated in such a manner. They really dont care about loyalty. Dont waste your money and join the cox scam. ADT, direct tv etc seem to have better deals. I cant believe the supervisor was so condescending and didnt care that I physically cant take the equipment down. Any scenario, I have to come out of pocket.

Since signing up with COX (Only had 2 choices where I live - COX or Century Link) I've had nothing but problems with internet speed, wifi failures constantly, charged me $20.00 for sending me a new modem when my Wifi continually dropping out, which in turn also droppedout when using my laptop, new modem didn't work at all. called tech support and was told by one of their tier two level technicicans that there was a problem with my PC and that I should contact Geek Squade at Best Buy or Dell. Made not effort what so ever to research the problem with me. Tech support is a total waste of time. Tech support never told me I would be charged a few for the modem replacement. I sure as *** won't pay for COX equipment problem. Highly recommend if you are planning on moving you check out the availability of internet, tv and phone services at you future home. If only Cox and Century link are the only companies in the area don't move there. Guess I'll have to move when my lease is up at Highlands at Heathbrook located in Ocala, FL.

Cox Communications - Spread the word - End Cox terrible customer service and hold on the area

Cox has a pretty good hold on the market right now due to their ability to have the best service for internet. They have recently started charging for data, Omaha area customer cannot get CenturyLink valid internet service and cell companies can only compete price wise so much. I've had terrible and i mean terrible customer service experiences with Cox. I left their service with no intention of going back until i had no choice simply because of internet. They raise prices on an annual basis and high prices at that. The word needs to get spread for them to even care about making a change. Bottom line.

Yep...I just fell for the same thing in November of 2017...was using my mobile over my Cox Communication Internet (WiFi)...and thought it was a Cox promotion...but it was a scam.
