Cox Communications - Too expensive
I am an 87-year-old lady and a widow and the cable bill is too expensive. I had a package but that contract has finished. I use them for internet and cable but no longer use their phone. The few TV channels that I enjoy are Food, HGTV, TLC, and History. They put them in the upper level and pay more. I am planning on getting a stick as I cannot pay $143 mo. on my Social Security.

Cox Communications - Suddenly lost the sports channels
I spent over 2 hours,mostly on repeated"holds",talking to service reps who mumbled nonsense and never helped me.Twice I called back after my phone connection dropped.I didn"t call back a fourth time because I believe it was time to go on break and they simply hung up.
Cox Communications - Bad customer service
cable and internet out I called and she said disconnect everything and re connect and go through many steps. I then couldn't get everything back to where it should be. I went on line and it said the entire area was out and had been out for awhile... why didn't the agent know that?? the voice mail system is abhorrent and anti consumer The only way they communicate is by text and after 20 minutes they still cant tell me my bill amount. I asked for a manager and never got a response 32 years with cox. I'm done. good bye and please know you have one of the worst customer service I've ever encountered I'm without cable and internet but its worth it not to deal with this company

Cox Communications - Asked for internet options that is offered to new customers
I have been with Cox since 1976 and am now a widow of a disabled veteran and living on a budget that is far less that prior. I am disconnecting the cable and landline due to increases that I am unable to pay on a monthly basis. When talking to the Loyalty department (AVSHA) I was told that I could not be given a lower monthly charge for internet other than $105.95 due to the fact that I am not a new customer so that means that I am being penalized for being loyal and paying my bills and so now I am having to pay more for services.
Cox Communications - Poor Service
Firstly, Cox Cable isnt a company that is not Senior Citizen friendly company...they require seniors to go online to obtain service- when most seniors are not internet savvy... When phoning technical support you stay online so long you get pissed off and decide to hang up... pls hire more techs..so, that adequate service can be given. God knows Seniors pay enough!!!!!!!
