Scheduled an appointment for between 1-3. The technician was an hour late. They contacted us to alert us to the delay, and then credited the call. Over the last couple of years, they have REALLY improved customer service.

Cox used to have a pretty good product. Could fast forward and rewind if you've been watching the station without having to record first. You could also have a box that covered many tvs in your home. Greedy Cox eliminated that easy bonus and forces you to have multiple...

I just got my Cox billing in today's mail, it was over $300.00 and there was a letter with it explaining that EVERY service's price was raised! I'm 72 and my wife (70) are on a fixed income. I'm retired and 100% disabled veteran of the Vietnam War. I can't afford this! I'll be looking for another provider soon. Cox, goodbye after 30 + years of loyalties to you, with none returned.

These guys are by far the WORST of them all. Incredible bullying tactics.

Cox cable just shows up never notified

We had a so called cox cable person come to our house wanting access to our back yard. We were never notified of any one coming what so ever. Told him I did not even know if hes a legit cox employee.who the *** is going to give someone access to their home, with not even knowing it was going to happen. All the fraud going on these days. We dont even have cox as a provider anyway.

They played that card with me also saying I was grandfathered in on another plan..I posted my complaint on facebook and made sure everyone could see it..not just my friends...call this number 844-233-3044 as for Dani..that is the direct line to supervisors if accounting...don't let them cheat you

Due to failure to supply reliable Internet connectivity, Cox replaced their network modem 11/23/2019. The new cable modem was reported to be their best made by Panoramic (model CGM4140COM) and suited for the highest standard, DOCSYS 3.1. However, even Cox reports that this modem fails 6 or more times a day. Since the network modem replacement our wireless printers have worked less than a few hours. Prior to the modem replacement, our printers were quite reliable. Cox themselves was unable to configure our new modem remotely since the technician added a password that no one knew. The technician failed to ever call us back. Calling Cox for help is a joke. We supposedly have COX COMPLETE CARE which is to cover both issues with the network modem, Wi-Fi connectivity, and all local devices including printers. Yet, we are constantly bounced back and forth between departments that service only the network modem or local devices. The Cox claim for complete care is a farce. Cox continues to bill us for service that isn't working as of 12/16/2019 at 11 pm.

I started out with the low income internet, as I was a student and single mother working only as a federal work study! Christmas was coming around and I wanted to cut some bills. The internet was one of the bills I had chosen to cut off. I called Cox and explained to them that I wanted to cut the service JUST FOR THE CHRISTMAS SEASON and put it back on around February/March, once I had gotten my taxes done! The representative said that shouldn't be a problem and helped me turn off the service! March rolls around, I call to restart service again, only to be told "oh I'm sorry; but, you are no longer eligible for that service." I'm thinking he's going to tell me that I still owe some money from the last time and I start telling him that I had paid the bill, IN FULL! He says "well, part of the agreement you made when you signed up for the service was that you had to KEEP it on INDEFINITELY!" ShockedShockedWHAT??!! I never agreed to any such thing!! Why wouldn't the representative tell me this before helping me turn off the service??! I'll tell you why! Because they knew that they were the ONLY provider in my area and that I would DEFINITELY HAVE to return to them at a HIGHER RATE! If that isn't bad enough, they're CONTINUOUSLY raising the rates while slowing down my service every six months or so, trying to push the "bundle deals" on me - THIEVES!!!!

Cox communications-reward card woes

Since August to November, communicated many times with Cox regarding the $50 Dollars prepaid rewards card, finally received by December 6, 2019- follows instruction to activation process, found out this prepaid reward card has " ZERO" balance, the same day (12-06-19) calling cox reward center regarding this issues- representative hang up my call several times, it's like a zero balance reward card is a BEST REWARD FOR CUSTOMER, instead of $50 dollars. if COX communication-can not honor or afford the promotion / rewards, let customers know about,,,, no one will bother to apply for it .....

Choose another provider,save yourself time and money

I have all of my services with Cox ( internet, TV, Phone, security ) unfortunately, because they are the only company that can provide all 4 services based on where we are located because we live in a newer housing addition, and for this we have paid a hefty price. The service quality is non-existant. We are too far from the central office or tower, which has proven to be impossible to get constant quality service. My bill is $250.00 and this is the lowest bill I can get as they have repeadedly stated "we have added to your account THE MOST AGGRESSIVE discounts we have to offer". They have the worst severely overpriced service I have came across and I should know I have worked for the #1 phone company for over 20 years. I normally dont right reviews but this is a mistake I dont want anyone else to make. Also, I am canceling my service with COX in order to get better pricing but I will have to have seperate bills and its still worth it. Cox is stil going to bill me termination charges for my security system, even though, nothing can be too secure if the internet is always up and down.

Avoid cox cable !!!! All advertising is bs, they do not care once you sign up. Do not!!! Do auto pay!They will not refund your money, just give you credit and still over charge you for there services.

Cox is the worst Internet provider; they hire some of the dumbest people I've ever encountered. Cox has been hacking my Internet for the past year...They must be working with the evil CIA because my Internet crashes every time I try to expose truth about how corrupt our government is. The customer service people seem like brainwashed zombies who could never fathom the government hacking people's Internet in order to silence truthers; these idiots probably have Alexa throughout their homes because they live in a fantasy world. The reality is that Cox is just another sellout company owned by demons who cater to the elite. When I cancel my service today, I'll make sure never to move to a place that only offers Cox again. What a *** excuse for an ISP. The phone rep actually admitted that they slow down Internet for certain people and then laughed about it...Unfortunately, I did not record this idiot and sue this abomination of a company. The people running Cox will all go to *** for their deception and illegal practices.
