Resolved: Cox Communications - Business contract deceptive
Cox was able to resolve the issue for us. Thank you to their team and support in getting this matter addressed
Jake Virgil (jake.virgil2@***.net) was notified that our business lease was temporary and confirmed that the contract would be able to be terminated with a 30 day notice. We provided notice after a year of service and are now told we are still under contract.
The contract wording is very deceptive which he highlighted the termination clause saying we can cancel with a 30 day notice. We subsequently closed the office and ordered Cox residential service as we are working from home. Mr.
Virgil acknowledge having received my email confirming we can get out of the contract with notice sent to him prior to signing or seeing an agreement, and is asking for more correspondence which was verbal when he called back to "close" and confirmed this verbally. I asked to speak to his manger or supervisor and he refused to provide information.
Reason of review: Order processing issue.
