On work order ticket # CS0008025622 dated 2-10-2020 Tech was 25 minutes late for appointed time without a phone call. TCOXhe technician after climbing pole outside tracked muddy snow onto front door throw rug (Very light colored beige). As I mentioned to him he looked inside his slip-on shoe covers, and they were loaded with dirt. Then after taking him into the basement, so he may check inside cable connectors. I simply asked him turn off the lights when finished, he didn't. I felt like I was dealing with some child, this was after retiring from over 20 years technical management.

Just received a monthly statement with an increase of 68% over last month. The contact number 877 320 1485 was called. First young woman speaking fast verified me, took some information and transferred me to another young women speaking even faster. She seemed to try to help and search for current promotions to help with our bill but after some minutes of searching Nicole disconnected and failed to call back. Please do what I am now doing by filing complaints with the FCC, FTC, consumer advocates, state and federal agencies and others. The Cox headquarters in Atlanta does not seem to allow feedback directly.

I have watched my Cox Communications bill rise twice in two months. There is no reason given, no breakdown of the cost, and zero notice. Worst of all no new service or faster speed to accompany the billing increases. What a terrible company. In the past I have contacted them when they do this, and negotiated some other deal. Why are cable signals not a utility? But inevitably Cox raises the rate like they did something new or added some unseen value to the signals they provide. Lame sauce with chunks.

after 6 months of paying my bill with an on file account, someone at COX messed with the account numbers. for 2 months they falsely returned payment and charged me late fees, FORCING me to add a credit card to the account. once the credit card number was entered they started charging 3 times in one month to the card. including $50 per transaction as late fees. WHAT THE *** this idiot on the phone said we wouldn't do that, then explain to me how an account all of a sudden won't process that has been processing for the past 6 months. as a fourteen year customer with cox,I have been left hanging by a Customer Advocacy person named Marcus Morse...had had been giving me discounts due to constant screw ups by Cox billing department...but he has not responded this pay period and has ignored by many emails to him..and now even after many calls to the worst so called customer service reps;I am stuck with a bill that is much to high to pay,no credit for a bill already paid...I spoke with a nice gal from the Tech dept and she suggested to call in the morning and ask only for Customer Advocacy ...i asked for a new bill since the bill I received middle of January is beyond understanding...would appreciate someone from the Customer Service group call me...thank you...sheila.forman.lee@mail.com .....or call 623 476 8141

Chrislxr Today at 20:20 Currently the internet charges for my account total at $109.98 per month. 100mb download speed, modem rental and unlimited data. The EXACT same service from Spectrum ( a few miles from my service address) the EXACT same services cost a total of $44.99. Next year when my introductory rate increases to the standard rates my charges will go up to $144.98 per month. A difference of $99.99 and TRIPLE the cost of the nearest competitor. Additionally, Cox requires a 2 year contract in order to receive the discount. Spectrum requires no contract, has no additional charges for modem rental and no additional charges for data caps. That is in no way providing service comparable to that provided by competitors. Data caps have been imposed merely as a means of increasing profit margins in an industry that currently exceeds even the most greedy of corporate excesses. I am requesting that I be provided with the contact information for the franchise authority in my area. I intend to contact my senators and representatives in both federal and state governments and urge that cable and internet providers be regulated as public utilities. I intend to state my case to the franchise authority and request that the Cox franchise be revoked in favor of another provider. I am considering a lawsuit for price gouging. I have contacted Cox directly, and the response was "this is what you signed up for." You have finally acquired the enmity of an educated consumer. Fix it or face it. Your decision.

Cox Communications - Sent my account to the collector service without any notice

closed my account with them due to extra charges they put on my account without letting me know and had to close that account and made sure there is no charges left and I was told they would make a note of that. but received a mail after 3 months that my account was sent to the collection service for the ACTIVATION FEE even I had that account closed!!! and didn't receive any notification for that charge till they sent it for the collection and when I called them she mentioned yes there is a charge for activation!!! well I didn't know once you close your account you would get charged and they send it for the collection service without any notification.

I was subleasing an office which I knew was temporary. The leaseholder found a tenant that wanted to expand and I had to move. I wanted to suspend my coverage until I found a new location, however, Cox almost immediately sent me a disconnect billing for $4,200. I tried to tell them I didn't want to cancel but just to suspend and they sent my account to a collection agency that proceeded to make constant calls. I tried to communicate with Cox and I was not able to get anyone to respond to me. I have filed with the Consumer Protection Agency regarding the collection agency and the Federal Trade Commision against Cox.

We had been with Cox for 3 years and we paid our services to more than $227 a month. This time it appeared in my internet of $ 10.00 other services which was not broken down and partial month services of $ 8.00. Why would the constituents shoulder their monthly other services and partial month services when we are not asking their other services. What are these other services and partial services that were added without any explanation? I had been calling Cox and their phone is always saying, it is for maintenance. I am getting disappointed because if something is wrong with my computer, I hire someone who can assist me not the Cox communication who not diagnose what is going on.
