I got rid of Cox almost a month and a half ago.Still getting a bill.Well .They said if I pay the $468.Then they will cancel service.They are a ripoff.Service is terrible.I tried to make a payment arrangement,but they want it all at once.They will milk you as long as they can.Beware consumers

Cox Communications - Other services

We had been with Cox for 3 years and we paid our services to more than $227 a month. This time it appeared in my internet of $ 10.00 other services which was not broken down and partial month services of $ 8.00. Why would the constituents shoulder their monthly other services and partial month services when we are not asking their other services. What are these other services and partial services that were added without any explanation? I had been calling Cox and their phone is always saying, it is for maintenance. I am getting disappointed because if something is wrong with my computer, I hire someone who can assist me not the Cox communication who not diagnose what is going on. I do not need these other services and your partial month services.

Cox Communications - Bad online experience

I would just like to warn alot of cox customers on what the online cox support team has been doing lately, they have messing up customers email logins on purpose, I have repeatedly complained to the cox online support team about the problems with the error of not being able to login to my email, and they just keep telling me all they can do is reset the email password and that never fixes anything, and I they have even created another user ID for me because the other User ID I have never works when trying to login to my cox email, and now the other one all of a sudden doesnt work either, so I think the Cox online team needs to be investigated for unlawful behavior, I just want to warn Cox Customers about this

Cox Communications - Clueless Reps

I went into the Cox store near 51st and Mingo, in Tulsa, Ok. today to have my internet changed to try and save some money. I take care of 3 Cox accounts, my parent, my oldest son's and my family. Two weeks ago, I went into the same Cox location to see about saving some money on the internet at my home. The gentleman I spoke with talked me into getting a better/faster internet for a few dollars more of what I was paying. So today, I took my oldest son up to Cox to get him the same deal, if we couldn't get him a lower price. The first person that we met was a young man by the name of Jason. After telling him what we wanted to do, he kept telling me that we were not able to do that and if we lowered the internet speed it would only save my son $5. I also told him that I want to put my son's internet under his name. I had put under my name when he first moved into his apartment. Jason then told us it would cost $20 to $30 to just do a name change. I told him that I wanted to speak to a manager. He then continues to talk back to me. I kept repeating that I wanted to talk to a manager. Finally as he is walking off to get a manager he decides he wants to get the last word. At the top of his voice he exclaims "WOW"! Finally a manager named Dani comes to help us out. I tell her what I wanted to do and she also proceeds to tell me the same thing. When I asked why I was not able to get the same deal I had gotten on my internet for my home, for my son. She says that offer has expired. I told my son just pay his bill and I would take care of this because this was totally uncalled for. He paid his bill and we left. I sat out in the Cox parking lot and called Cox. Lo and behold, after talking with a person on the phone, I found out the the same deal that I had received was still available. In fact it was a dollar or two cheaper. So we left the Cox building in Tulsa. Went to a sub branch and was able to finish our transaction. All of this could have and should have been done with one stop. I dropped my cable with Cox because of the customer service and inferior equipment they have. I went to Directv and have not had any issues to date. When and if Directv is allowed to have internet service in our area, I will be getting rid of Cox for good. I hope that day comes soon.

Cox Communications - Cox Caused Problem with e-mail; Now Cannot Fix

On 2/11, Cox informed me my email was not linked to an active internet service account. I had to call them or they would delete the account. I called and was told Cox had changed my account number a few years ago to accommodate a new billing platform but did not link my email account to the new number. Now they are rolling out a new webmail platform and that is why they caught it. I told them this is a business account that generates income; I was told no worries, the email account would linked to my internet account number. This is where trouble starts. They did the linking and immediately thereafter I cannot receive email. I start calling tech services. Three "Tier 2" tickets escalating the problem to the specialty tech team and 6 days later, I still cannot receive email. After being told it takes 24-72 hours for a ticket to be executed on ( I was told this repeatedly, most recently 144hrs after the first fix ticket was processed), I asked to talk with management or I would stop using Cox for my home and business. Nope, not possible I was told. With managements clear indifference - allowing a customer service process that aggregates a situation - why should I continue as a loyal client after 19 years? Magic Jack for phones, my domain provider to host my email, and thank God Google Fiber just arrived in San Diego. No wonder Cox is losing customers.
