I was told numerous times that I am not able to cancel any of my services because of a 2 yr contract. I checked this out at the Scottsdale location on Frank Lloyd Wright location and noticed not in one area is my initials or signature visual. Mean while I feel like this is a giant SCAM!

I have been a long time customer of Cox Communications (TV, internet, and phone). They draw you in with a promotion and then suddenly the bill increases unannounced. When you call Cox about the increased bill they conveniently don't have any more promotions. The bill...

Cox Communications - I have a promotion for 12 months and now went up in price

Very disrespectful customer service representative named Veronica, very rude, she talks over you. She didn't want to deal our price. Cox has to respect the price that they give me went we made the agreement, and also she hung up on me. Very dissappointed in Cox Customer Service.

Cox Communications - Deal Review

Details
I was calling to receive new customer services from them. While looking for just internet, i had found a great deal online for internet and cable. The internet preferred is offered at $59.99 and if you bundle with the basic cable with free hbo, you would only pay $58.99. An entire dollar less than the price of just internet. So of course I decided I would go with that. So I call and ask to change to that deal. It took about 4-5 different people to find the promotion. I'm told to go head and have the internet installed first then Call back to be considered an existing customer to quality for the deal. I get the internet installed and called back. And of course I'm told a whole nother story. They refuse to give me that deal and tell me that there's nothing they can do about the wrong information given to me by the other people(including a supervisor) had given to me. These people seriously do not know what they're doing. All they care about it money, they do not care about their customer satisfaction. Plus the internet they installed is barely working. Horrible over all experience. I'm cancelling services to get att.!

Cox Communications lied regarding their contract terms. They told me to agree to their contract by telling me that I was "locked" in for a specific rate during the duration of my contact. PLUS, they would send me a $350 gift card for being a first time customer. But...

This is typical of Cox. Multiple answers to the same questions, different pricing depending on who you talk to, and promotional agreements that - poof!

- are suddenly gone and nobody can find a record of that conversation. Truly horrific.

My original lock in price was 154.75 but when I get the bill it's for $186, which the rep says was a "one time" credit when I paid the first bill. How would I even know that Cox reps can do a "lock-in" rate? They are the one who told me about it!

Cox Communications in Peoria, Arizona - Rebate offer

Details
I signed up with Cox over a year ago by phone. I was told I would receive a $150.00 pre paid Visa card by last December. I have been to the office three times to inquire about this and was told they are looking into it. This weekend I called again only to be told that I was to submit a form...NO ONE MENTIONED THAT! When I called 1 877-286-4804 (their redemption program) I was once again told they could not help me because I had not submitted the form and even then time constraints would probably prohibit processing the claim. And STILL NO FORM....I agree this is a bait and switch to get you to sign up for a larger package! Signed Steven Wolf Acct 001-8501082701212

Going through the exact same thing at the moment. Going into the 13th month and my total bill (Bronze bundle) is jumping $40.

I was given the same assurances when I signed up a year ago - locked in for two years. Now they tell me it's going up $40 and if I terminate, I have to pay fees.

Cox Communications in New Orleans, Louisiana - Fraudulent Price Advertising for Contour Service

If you go to https://cox.com/residential/pricing.html you will see Cox current advertised pricing for various plans. In it Contour is listed showing a promotional pricing of $59.99 mos for 12 mos. There are no footnotes, no asterisks or anything to indicate there are "special conditions. Prior to going here I had researched what the service offered for features and the like and once again no indications there would be conditions. I then called Cox and ended up talking to THREE different reps, each time I had to give all my info again and explain what I wanted. Because I have been a customer for NINE years I was routed to a "loyalty representative" who made me give all the info again and he then told me that because I was such a loyal customer I only had to pay $97.50 for what is being advertised for $59.99 because that was only for new customers. I spent close to 20 minutes on the phone to be told we can care less about you being with us so long and would rather give you a raw deal than reward you!. AT&T here I come
