Cox Communications - I could have a monthy car payment for this POS service provder

Internet is so slow and even the tech who helped with mandatory recent upgrade said that is the way it is. 15+ years and getting worse. Other options are just as bad. SPECTRUM not in our area.

Don't try to cancel cox cable. They are very dishonest people. You can't cancel on line. You have to call and then a transfer and then a request to cancel. A big sales pitch. I still want to cancel. They'll tell you ok. Then you find out that you get another bill. You call and question about you cancelling. They said, there's no record of the call and thus you have to pay for another month. Sleeze balls. Somebody needs to put pressure on our overview body to make it where you can cancel and not go through this ordeal. They are corrupt. You know and all of those folks are all in on it. You wonder why our country is like it is. Money... the love to take money from you

I have had problems from the 2nd day,no t.v. no internet,no help from the company,internet is constantly going out will not stay on more than 5 minutes,then goes out the rest of the day and stays off for 2 or 3 days.cable freezes up Stays off most of the day.picture freezes on screen,constantly having to unplug the box and it takes 15 to 20 minutes to come back on then shows subscription required, I will be going back to either dish or direct,Im paying for a service that I am not receiving. Cox Communications - Shut my internet down for 20.83

I renegotiated my service and the sales person said my new bill would be 80.25 per month. Understand, this in only for internet. Days later, they started calling me insisting I owed them 23 dollars. Long story short, even though I called them, telling them I would pay this twenty plus dollars at the first of the month, they still shut down my service on the second of the month, insisting I owed them. One hour later, talking with multiple people, they made me pay the twenty plus just to turn back not the service. Even though I had never made a late payment, ever... they would not budge. I hate COX. I WILL NEVER EVER EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN. THEY ARE SIMILAR TO ATT. DO NOT GO WITH COX

The WORST provider of Internet I've ever experienced. Don't buy into the "Panoramic" mumbo-jumbo. It's a lie. Service is slow even when connected to a wire. WiFi drops anywhere in the house at random times, only way to get it back is to completely reset the modem. I had an issue where internet service stopped. I contacted Cox (on a Friday) was told they were going to send me a modem and was guaranteed to receive it by Tuesday (3 days with no service) It's now Thursday and still no modem. I contacted customer service AGAIN and a modem was not even shipped. And was insulted with a $25 credit on my account. If you have Verizon FiOS in your area, go that route. STAY FAR AWAY FROM COX!!! THEY ARE LYING CROOKS.

Cox Communications - Very inefficient and expensive service.

I contacted to COX to have my service line checked since my signal seemed to be very erratic. So they send three guys out and end runing a new service line. BUT...they run this line down the pole (not encased in conduit) and across my yard. Then they place these flags along the cable on the ground, saying "Buried TV Cable." All I have is internet service from them. I then get a call from one of the technicians who is SITTING in front of my house telling me that it would be a week to 10 days before that line would be buried! Couldn't even come to my front door to tell me in person. When I went out back to see what they had done, I was horrified at how they thought this would be okay. The pole that the line runs down is on the other side of my fence in my neighbors yard. The line runs down the pole through some wire garden plant stands and then under my fence. There is no way that they could bury this line to the pole! And since the wire is exposed and not on my property, there is the danger of anyone coming along and cutting that line. The other thing that I do not understand is that more than 2 yrs ago, they ran an underground line to my property which comes from a junction box on the property line. They have never connected me to that line and now they want to do another underground line! The first time that they ran an underground line, they cut through a sprinkler system line which I had to have repaired and now they want to do this again!! Is this why they keep raising rates why the service gets poorer and poorer! I guess when you have a monopoly on this type of service, it doesn't matter what you do. Also, 2 years prior I was promised that I would be connected to the original underground line which is encased in conduit. It does not take a rocket scientist to figure out that COX hires very incompetent people who know nothing about professionalism and proper maintenance service. When I called them back and said I did not want another buried line across my property, I was told that they would have to send an "evaluation team" out to see what the best solution would be. Unbelievable!! Now I am waiting for the team.

Switched to cox on 3/11/19. When I signed up I was told my bill would be 175.93 per month.

Then they sent an e-mail that my bill was due in that amount. When I called to pay my bill the amount was 213.48. I paid that amount and called Cox.

I was told the due amount was 213.48 and my monthly bill would be 180.xx.Iwas told that 180.00 was the best they could doand the sales lady should have told me a rate increase was coming. I guess I'll be going to directv or back to at&t when my month is up.

Cox Communications - Monthly payment increased for no reason

I have visited 6771 Quail Hill Pkwy. Irvine, CA 92603 location last month. I wanted to return my COX Tv. They said that if I return it my monthly payment going to increase. They said I have a promotional rate of up to 2 years. And This month I received my bill $37 more. I contacted customer service and explain the situation. The customer representative was worse than the actual Cox Rep. in the store. They "DO NOT CARE" about customer's problems at all!!! Please stay away from them. I am going to cancel my service tomorrow.

Cox Communications - Slow internet

I've been with them for 30 years. And like all ISP services they keep getting more customers. In turn, eating up their bandwidth. This causes Slow Internet. Then they sell us a speed upgrade, so we can cover their expense to update their hardware, Great isn't it , we pay for their research and development! And the price goes higher and higher and higher.......

Cox Communications - Too expensive

I am an 87-year-old lady and a widow and the cable bill is too expensive. I had a package but that contract has finished. I use them for internet and cable but no longer use their phone. The few TV channels that I enjoy are Food, HGTV, TLC, and History. They put them in the upper level and pay more. I am planning on getting a stick as I cannot pay $143 mo. on my Social Security.

Cox Communications - NO customer service but sure keep on charging you!

For a month now I am unable to get into my email. Maybe even longer. Get the run around on the phone. Stop in a service location SV, AZ and bam they tell me to call cox solution's again. WTF! Been there done that already. Three years ago I changed the account over removed my EX, so I thought, and was told this has been done. But NO that was done incorrectly, not done at all. Now I have been on the phone for 1 hour at least again and was transferred from customer service to technical solutions and that women really sucked than again to TIER2. The rep there had no clue on what was going on. That incompetent service rep just transferred me.The service sucked from technical solutions. Once the rep picked up at TIER2 I was expected to go through the entire mess again!?!. I am so pisst I just hung up after realizing she just dumped me on this guy. On top of it I was charged for a full month of service today. Internet is always intermittent if it works at all. Why cant we get more competition in this area. High Speed internet outrageous expensive with cox, always issues, it is ridiculous. Constant issues. Now I am still unable to get into my email. Still have my EX on as primary WTF! and I am expected to call the cox solutions again for help. I think NOT! I really should just cancel all my services since I cannot call them services.
