So you’re the type of person who calls 6 different people and is amazed they have 6 different answers? And probably expressed no patience on the phone, so people just wanted to get you off, try being nice next time!

For the past month, weve been dealing with our service cutting in and out, random pop ups, in and out service. Cox Communications - Update on this

Details
I asked how much to upgrade the internet speed and I decided it was too costly, but the rep I talked to coerced me into the deal by telling me I get free showtime with that deal, so I opted in. I explained to him that I have directv and he said it would still work he would send me a splitter. Well, it didn't work and went round and round with cox again and we are maybe to where there is a solution. They are coming out tomorrow to see if they can help. I asked for them not to charge me since it was their error and was assured I would not be charged. Will update again.

Cox Communications - Honesty is a issue

A Tech came out and did something to the line outside my property and messed up my internet I called to report the problem and was told a tech would be out here this morning 11/8/17. A received a call from a so-called Tech in which he said; “he was on his way and should arrive at my residence by 8:05 am. A Tech pulled up in my driveway then left without saying a word to me. I called to find out what that was about, and I was told I’m lying no Tech ever came out. The thing is I not only have the truck that came with the cox logo on the side of it I have the tech numb in my phone. There’s no mistake, it’s a flat out lie on cox end and instead of owning up to it, I’m be made to look like I have a reason to lie. This isn’t how business should be ran, and they act like they doing me a favor. This might be time for me and anyone else to look at other providers that handle their business a little more professional than this.

Cox Communications - Not happy w/cox.

In the past month I have repeatedly called cox. I have got a couple nice reps, but for the most part their customer service reps are not trained properly. I have been given wrong or not much info. It took them weeks to figure out their line is bad at my house. But they couldn't tell me that before I spent over $50 on a new modem they told me to purchase. Nor did they tell me current customers had a free upgrade to the new modem. I discovered that online after and they would not refund any amount to me when I asked. They also have unprofessional representatives working for them. One in particular argued with me online and did not get the supervisor I asked for 5 times! It's such a hassle to switch providers I kept them. But I am VERY disappointed in the service they offer.

Cox Communications in Phoenix, Arizona - TV went on and off

Details
Our TV would be on for a while, and then would go off. A message came on, 'not supported'. This went on for over 6 days. Tried to reach Cox, and could not get through. They said, 'five minute wait', after 20 minutes, still no one answered. Finally, I reached Tech Support. One person told me that the problem was 'sun spots'. Another, support person told me to bring the box in, and exchange it. I asked to have a technician come to the house. They said he would be there between one and three. He never came. He was cancelled without my knowledge. Then, after all of the lies, I was told that they had had an 'outage' that was the cause of the problem. The TV was working for a time, and then the same thing happened again. Now, it seems to be working. The whole Telecom industry needs to be investigated by Congress. Customers are being given poor service, and being 'gouged' at the same time. Maybe, the answer is Netflix, or something along those lines. However, you need Wi-Fi, and who supplies that?

Cox communications sucks

WORST company to deal with. I am repeatedly over charged when they tell me it's one price and it's 10x more. I had a guy come to the house to fix one thing and messed up another. Someone was suppose to come again, he never shows up then I get a voicemail that we missed him. He claims to have called, rang the door bell and left a note on the door. He did none of the above because I was standing in my kitchen waiting for him and there is no note on any doors. I have been on the phone with them every day for over an hour for 7 days straight with no results. After 26 years with cox communications I think I will be cancelling services because I've had enough.

Cox Communications - Technical Support Review

I have been a current customer with cox cable . I have had nothing but bad experiences with customer service and technicians. I have called over a dozen times on internet and cable issues and every time a technician came out they could not correct the problem instead they said it is user error or some *** excuse . I even contacted the corporate office in Georgia and sent them a letter about my experiences and no one sent a email to me about a resolution on my problem . I still continue to have service issues and pointless calling customer support because they can not do a simple task .
