Cox Communications - Worst service ever

The cox service as well as the customer service is absolutely the worst anywhere, TV Signal causes programs to freeze on screen, only recourse is to unplug everything, this happens at least twice daily. This is an on going problem which I have called in about more times then I can count, no solution to this problem, nasty customer support we I tell them how much the service sucks. Cox *** ***, they just don't care if I have had the same issues for years, they offer no solutions, just a lot of talk. Cox Communications - Horrible TV Service

I am not able to watch and understand a TV program, as it cuts and and scrambles the picture. Service was just connected and a tech came out October 5th for 2 hours. Was not able to correct the issue said it would take 7 to 10 days to send out another person. I received a call October 10th from 331.701.6831 for a tech to come out on Tuesday at 1pm. He did not show called left a message, and as I am typing this I received a call from the tech who has made an appointment for 5pm today.

Cox Communications - Inflexibility will probably cost them a customer

I am a seasonal resident, with Cox as my only choice for Cable TV service. For 14 years I have had Cox, and paid with their EZ Pay plan, with Cox drafting from my credit card. (The agree, they have never missed a payment). This past spring, rather than put the plan on "vacation" I simply cancelled, and then re-enrolled when I returned to our AZ residence. Cox claimed they needed to run a credit check to re-establish my credit (although they agreed they kept the EZ Pay information in their system). For this, they insisted on a $50 deposit, which I now am told, won't be returned for one year!!!! I worked thru 4 levels of staff today, and each agreed they would take a Cancellation before they would return the $50 deposit now.

Cox Communications - Upgrades equal downgrades

It seems the more services Cox offers, the worse their current service gets. Several times lately I have turned on my television to find that 80% of the channels I enjoy watching (TNT, cartoon network, comedy central, BBC america, etc) are pixellating so badly that programs are unwatchable. Sometimes no more than one second out of ten is intelligible. In addition to this, their new "mini-box" program has proved to be a trade off. While I now get a menu than I barely use on my TV and a few extra channels (that I don't watch anyway) I have also LOST access to several channels that I DID watch. Again, Comedy Central, Discovery, Freeform (formerly ABC family) no longer get a strong enough signal in my back rooms to read through the mini-box. Cox needs to realize that especially in an old city like new orleans, not all co-ax lines in peoples houses can keep up with all the needs of their new equipment. Sure, they will come out and fix the problem, if you are willing to pay out the *** for it. The old system worked just fine, but no, now we have to pay more money for the same basic services, or less. Cox, you suck.

Cox has a monopoly in parts of Tucson... That wouldn't be a bad thing if they provided good service, correction, if they provided CONTINUOS service... Every other day or so, either HBO, or any other so-called premium channels are not in service... They always leave a chickenshit message saying "Sorry for the inconvenience, we are experiencing technical difficulties" YEAH RIGHT!!! THAT'S PURE *** !!! I miss COMCAST!!! The BEST CABLE SERVICE IV EVER HADVIS COMCAST !!!! If all cox customers decided to say *** IT, and NOT pay their bill, I bet cox would figure out a way to fix their so-called technical difficulties !!!! COX SUCKS !!!! DROP COX !!!
