Cox Communications - Cox cable is the worst you can find anywhere if it was me I

Don't waste your time and money on Cox Cable and please do not stay at the Rat Hole Knights Inn in Roanoke Virginia on Thirlane Road because they will give you a bunch of *** and your TV will mess up half a dozen time and I *** around and don't want to do nothing about it

Cox Communications - Tv Service Review

These guys are terrible! I have been with them for over 10 years. I have always had the same services yet, my bill has more than tripled in that time. Now, the sports tier, that I have always subscribed to, has split. In order to get all of the sports channels that I used to subscribe to, I have to pay another $10 per month. *** these guys! They are nothing but {{Redacted}}.

Cox Communications - Contour

Details
Picture freeze and pixelation. Two service tech over 4 weeks, this morning, still freezing. I think it is an infrastructure issue. Contour requires a higher signal, with all the additional homes, Cox is slow to act. Without Contour, the system worked fine for 6 years, I say fine,but we usually had to do a refresh every 6 months, but at least didn’t need to be home for a service tech. 1st tech, spurious signal, second tech basic connection, after 6 years, was not correct. Why do I need to put in 100 words. Is this really a Cox site and you are trying to get me to give up.

After many years of using the overpriced service. I cancelled when I sold my home and did my best to settle my bill. I thought I did so several months ago; I had a problem with a returned check from the move.. and was told it was cleared up after submitting a dispute; I asked for email verification- lady said it was ok and she couldn't do that anyways... Turns out it was not clear. Again. Now the automated system says I owe $100 that the agent who seemingly purposely wasted 30min of my time on phone did not resolve. He lied about my previous phone calls with agents saying I agreed to pay the $25 returned check fee. That was from a phone call I received saying everything was settled two months later. Now they cannot say what automated system think I owe 100 for and that scares me. Neither will they submit my complaint or have the "back office" contact me. They will waste your time with this back and forth. Many lies and no resolution when you are trying to do the right thing.

While concluding that the service that we were getting from Cox Cable was nothing less than a parade of Commercials and entertainment was not possible... despite their uncontrolled sales and ever more pointless "upgrades"... We tried to cancel... Apparently they forgot to add that option!!! While every other decision in the so called free world comes with a choice of 'NO" Cox Communications has a policy exactly like the Mafia... Nobody gets out alive! Despite Calling their computerized voice rejection system! which can sell you anything on the planet. with the touch of a button. Sure I figured an Hour and a half on the phone... several times get cut off for no reason the usual... I've spent hours... but at least 20 times trying to even talk with a rep who can actually cancel tv and keep internet!! all they have is sales reps no one has the awesome power of removing their greedy hands from our pockets! if you push the numbers indicated to "modify ' service the computer rejects your call ( cancellation is Not one of the options) speak to a rep (I.e living breathing...) usually cutoff before speaking to a nice person that neither has the power nor a valid clue how to cancel... even a Tick will quit sucking blood when it had it's fill . Cox will cancel the signal anytime but keep billing you! It's a new world now !! ! where it's cool to be a rotten son of a *** !!! Ethics and Protection from the government they only enjoy... American Values are now upside down! ' Corporation Were people too. you're a valued customer! I believe that but not that " My call is Important to them " Who /... the Computer? They need to Play by the Same rules as everyone else! Don't they? They act Mysterious. But being *** is the smartest thing they can do to maximize profits. But they have no soul, conscience and therefore. Are uncapable of doing the morale (honest) thing. Someday I am going to get through and I am going to chew the nice innocent lady that answers a new *** for working as part of a criminal enterprize if she helps i will tell her to have a nice day! I'm though being nice!!!

After the many years I have had your service, I am shocked at how much you have increased the invoice! I did call however, no one was able to help me with reducing this with any type of promotion. Since you do not offer any special program to seniors and people with disabilities, I just want you to know that I am searching now for another alternative and will be changing my tv service as soon as possible. Perhaps you are not aware that there are companies out there with offers that are almost one half of your charges. Because I had been with you for so long, I was actually thinking of adding my phone and internet to my plan with you and then I received your current invoice - of course, this is now out of the question. Cox Communications - Ridiculous TV remote, mediocre service

Before I belch out disapproval of service received I want to say the Tech support has always been satisfying. TV service has been disruptive at best. They keep messing with various programs or the reception gets fuzzy or the channels in package get shuffled. We're paying good money for our service but not getting all the stuff agreed to. That's despite all the sweet talk at the other end. The other issue is with the physicality and disfunctional nature of their cumbersome remote control. I mean whoever it is that makes that remote must be severely challenged and a mere mental midget. It is very large and heavy, unappealing looking and crowded w/buttons from top to bottom. We all can agree that the most often used buttons are the channel number ones and the volume buttons. Ironically these buttons occupy the lower half or even third of the remote. Human fingers/thumb are on the front of the hand followed by the palm and wrist as a point of reference for the direction I'm going in. In order to operate this piece of trash you have to hold the bottom and push the buttons. In so doing the majority 75% or so is weighing down on your hand. In contrast our regular TV controls are much more sensible and easy to use with just one hand. With the cable remote you have to use both hands which is not what most people find suitable. I've done the research and that's my feedback. That's all! Get it right.

The cox service as well as the customer service is absolutely the worst anywhere, TV Signal causes programs to freeze on screen, only recourse is to unplug everything, this happens at least twice daily. This is an on going problem which I have called in about more times then I can count, no solution to this problem, nasty customer support we I tell them how much the service sucks. Cox *** ***, they just don't care if I have had the same issues for years, they offer no solutions, just a lot of talk.
