COX tries to lure you with their bundle. But it is all a big scam claiming that they lock your price for a year.

A lot of lies. I compared my bill from a year ago (same service, same bundle, I made no changes) but my bill has increased by 10 dollars. I have been with COX for many years and comparing my bills that I got from them I noticed that every year the price goes up, even if you have the same bundle. Their bundle is a rip off because it does NOT guarantee you a fixed price.

So I decided to drop their cable and phone.

I just kept the internet. Now I use ROKU and I get free tv.

I don't think COX can match free.

Review about: Cox Communications Bundle.

Monetary Loss: $500.

I use to work for Cox loyalty department they are diffently scamming customers adding fees on their bill and we were trained to lie and make customers believe they are receiving a discount when really it was just a band aid for 1 month

Cox is too greedy.Took for stations from my bundle and put them in another tier.

I would have to pay 20 bucks a month more to watch.Bye Cox, hello streaming.

I won't defend Cox prices, I too believe my cable TV service is too high. Here are some actors related to cost increases:

• Quoted rates are promotional offers which expire after 3 months, usually

• Because there is no contract, they are not obligated to maintain any rates for any length of time. A service like DirecTV does require contracts so what the can charge & how much they can increase their rates is subject to the contract terms

• State regulators & FCC change their taxes & fees at will, which has a small affect on monthly costs

• All TV programming providers have to negotiate with the content providers, ie each channel or channel group, for the cost of carrying a channel. The term can be any length from a month or more

In fairness, viewing shows via the Internet is not free either. The devices that connect a TV to an Internet content provider has a cost & device upgrades have a cost and that's on a per TV basis

Cheers !

Rate increases are never good news.We try to minimize the impact of rate increases as much as possible however as operating costs continue to rise ultimately some of those added costs have to be passed to the consumer.

We offer price lock contracts to help minimize the impact of rate increases in exchange for a time commitment.I would encourage you to speak with our sales team to inquire about such options.

Cox Communications is a big scam they keep squeezing people's internet to fit more people onto their lines. They lowered my bandwidth cap and cut my upload speed by 150% and cut my dowload speed almost 50% and charged me 150%. I know it's not your fault Chris but let's face it Cox is about as greedy as Microsoft.
