Was offered a $200 gift card in Oct. 2012, it's now Feb.

2013 and I still don't have the card. Numerous calls, one lie after another and no card yet. This is deceptive trade practice if there ever was. What a bunch of shi_!What is it going to take to get these idiots to send me my card?

I've told customer service reps that I'm going to file a complaint with the attorney general and they just brush me off. They don't care since they're probably making minimum wage and lack education.

Get with the program you *** idiots. SEND ME MY CARD!

Monetary Loss: $200.

They all do it. I was offered a $100 Visa card by the door-to-door AT&T Uverse rep if I went with them...

plus an addition $100 Visa for every friend I convinced to sign with them. I got 2 people to subscribe and I never got a GD thing. I called their customer service department and was transferred to someone with such a thick ebonic vernacular I found myself having to continually ask her to repeat herself on every thing she said. I could sense she was getting attitude and losing patience so I lied and explained that I was going deaf and my hearing aid was on order.

That seemed to cool her down a little, but I still could hardly understand a thing she said. Within a another minute or two she told me she was going to transfer me to another rep. This time it was a man speaking Spanish. When I said that I didn't speak Spanish, he responded, "No speak English".

He said something and I heard a click. Then silence for 10 seconds then a dial-tone. I called back three times on three different days and encountered the same exasperating ploy.

Seriouslyโ€”what a contrived system they maintain that requires the hiring of unintelligible customer service reps and an elaborate matrix of call transfers to discourage customers from ever redeeming the rewards promised my AT&T.

When the Cox service rep went on and on about their Visa gift card rewards, I was shaking my head, and thinking, "Bullsh!t!"

Why is it when you do everything they ask you to do, you switch to their company, you make all your payments on time, but they still denied your rebate? I am so frustrated I wished I never switched to Cox I was extremely happy with Direct Tv.

This is so flusterating!! I signed up back in September 2015 here it is March 2016 clearly I should have gotten my rebate back by now!!

I also have not received my $200 rebate. I initiated my Cox service at the end of August, 2015 and should have received the rebate in the 1st week of January.

Young America is responsible for issuing the rebate, but after many calls to them and Cox costumer service, it seems that Cox is not releasing it. Each time I call Cox and request to speak to a supervisor, I must wait about 10 minutes and then am told by the supervisor that they will investigate my request and get back to me. They have never called me back. This is fraud and i am putting a complaint into the R.I.

attorney generals office and the Federal Trade Commission. I suggest everyone else who has not received their rebate also make formal complaints.

I have been waiting for a long time for the rebate and feel your frustration. After many phone calls I came across a man named Marcus Morse who is a supervisor for Cox.

After many phone call that he made, he was able to get my rebate card approved but I have not received it yet, as it has been about 5 days.

He called me everyday informing me of the progress he was making and although I have not received it yet, I think I will and if I don't I can get back with Marcus. Good luck on this very ridiculous situation.

My application was originally rejected because I once had Cox cable many years ago.

I just got off the phone with a cox agent seeing as the offer says get rebate 8-10 weeks after you begin service. He had just told me that after 90 days of account in good standing they will send you an email with the offer.

My install date was on May 23 so we will see if I get an email offer after August 23, then I think have to wait another 8-10 weeks for them to get in mail for you. Irritated to say the least was expecting to use the rebate Visa for school supplies and clothes. But they are more than happy to collect $239.

I was promised the same $200 rebate if i changed my service back to Cox Cable to cover my early cancelation fee with Direct TV. I have called numerous times and no one knows who to refer me to within Cox to find out where my card is.

They sent me to the 3rd party vendor, well that was a joke. I spent 3 hours on the phone with a 9 different reps last Friday. The superviser was to call me back within a day or two. I have been promised that 2X's.

Today got transferred around 4 times. The rep is suppose to call me back. She says there is only one person in all of Cox Cable that can research the rebates (Ebony). She sent Ebony an instant message and when she gets a response back she will call me, REALLY!!!

that will never happen. If Ebony is the only person in all of Cox Cable to process rebates and research them, She probably hung herself. This is all BS! It is noted in my account that I am to get a $200 rebate after 60 Days of service.

But no body knows who to go to to get it sent out. I wonder does that mean my 2 yr contract is not legit either since i never got the rebate?

I think I will send a letter to the Corporate Office and Better Business. Rediculous!

Yes i'm ready to get rid of Cox...during installation sched date nobody showed up, I asked/payed somebody to stay in my house coz we're not available, when i called/spoke w/ their Rep( No costumer service @ all!) Rep arguing and when I asked I need to speak to Supervisor/Manager and line got disconnected/hang up :sigh .......And also my bills i paying almost $200, but w/ my agreement when i signed up it's $130..Also w/ rebate not real can't find to download the "BS" form.

I was to receive a rebate of $200.00 - have called & was told to go on line to get form - can not locate www.cox.com/rebate - can not get form on line to complte , cox saqid they can't mail form - What do I do to get help?
