Due to failure to supply reliable Internet connectivity, Cox replaced their network modem 11/23/2019. The new cable modem was reported to be their best made by Panoramic (model CGM4140COM) and suited for the

highest standard, DOCSYS 3.1.

However, even Cox reports that this modem fails 6 or more times a day. Since the network modem replacement our wireless printers have worked less than a few hours. Prior to the modem replacement, our printers were quite reliable. Cox themselves was unable to configure our new modem remotely since the technician added a password that no one knew.

The technician failed to ever call us back.

Calling Cox for help is a joke. We supposedly have COX COMPLETE CARE which is to cover both issues with the network modem, Wi-Fi connectivity, and all local devices including printers. Yet, we are constantly bounced back and forth between departments that service only the network modem or local devices.

The Cox claim for complete care is a farce. Cox continues to bill us for service that isn't working as of 12/16/2019 at 11 pm.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Monetary Loss: $106.

Preferred solution: Deliver product or service ordered.

Cox Communications Pros: You are stuck with them.
