Cox Communications - Frequent loss of internet
I have been without internet service 8 times since 6/10/2022, amounting to approximately 20 hours without service. I have spent over 15 hours with tech support.
I have been told repeatedly that there was no outage in my area in spite of the fact that I have several neighbors without Cox internet at the same time and later proved to be an area outage. I have been told repeatedly that it is the fault of my router/modem and spent even more hours with Netgear to learn that it was, indeed, a cable outage. I work from home so this is extremely disruptive to business and unacceptable. To add insult to injury, I am repeatedly told I need to purchase even more services or pay $75 for someone to come to my home when I know others are having the same problem.
There also appears to be a pattern: Internet goes out between 12-1:30pm and returns between 6-7pm.
This needs to be remedied as soon as possible. I also want to be reimbursed for the hours without service.
