I was subleasing an office which I knew was temporary. The leaseholder found a tenant that wanted to expand and I had to move.

I wanted to suspend my coverage until I found a new location, however, Cox almost immediately sent me a disconnect billing for $4,200. I tried to tell them I didn't want to cancel but just to suspend and they sent my account to a collection agency that proceeded to make constant calls.

I tried to communicate with Cox and I was not able to get anyone to respond to me. I have filed with the Consumer Protection Agency regarding the collection agency and the Federal Trade Commision against Cox.

Monetary Loss: $4200.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.

I didn't like: I did not like that no one would communicate with me from cox.
