Over the phone, back in April of 2019, I agreed to a 2 year contract at $84 per month. I was also suppose to get a faster internet speed. Ever since then, my Cox bill has been over $100. I would never trust anything those liars say over the phone again. From now on, I want it on paper, in writing. Which government agency handles complaints from customers of Cox?

we were overfilled for services we did not order and they will not refund --- it is incumbent on you to call them in 60 days and even then they prorate from the time you tell them. Very unethical company

I am seriously getting stacked at cox billing they are over billing me up to 450 month and now is issues of 645 and the payments of 100 or 80 every week is not enough there my most expensive bill and seriously thinking to cancel and get a pre paid lawyer to send them a letter how they are lying and sneaking charges and was told my bill will be 180 by sept and that's BS as long they keep getting me behind i will be stuck and only way to be unstuck is to cancel and pay off whatever is owes.

They flat out lie! Make up an internet plan and quote me the price which does not exist! Didn't change anything on my account but said it was all good to go. Got my bill and it is exactly the same with the same service that I was already getting. Who the heck runs this place? So the hour that I was on the phone with the *** was useless! And it was not the first time! Have always had problems with them charging me for service calls when it is their fault.. numerous times! The cable never runs good!! Why cant we get a cable internet service like Time Warner here in Omaha!!??!!! Cox flat out just sucks!

If it was a Cox tech hire a lawyer and sue them for harassment. If it was a free lance tech find the company and sue both Cox and the free lance company.

Cox wont want the media they will settle out of court should your stress and anxiety be significant enough. Require Cox to assure you that tech is fired.

This issue wont go beyond that call center manager so make sure it goes to the top. Contact a local tv reporter.

After your initial introductory offer Cox gives you a huge increase every 6 months and you need to call them to have it reduced. It's a scam and they have everbody playing their game. They have customer service reps trained to talk to one irate customer after another and listen to their threats to cancel and then offer them a reduced rate that is still a ridculous increase. You might get a 25% increase reduced to 10. To talk to a rep you sit on hold for 10 to 20 minutes. But if you want to add service you can talk to someone immediately. If you live in an apartment you don't have any options so they have a monopoly. If you play their game it doesn't take many 6 month increases before the price is through the roof. I can see why many cities regulate cable. Cox is a ripoff expert.

Cox is terrible at offering long standing customers any kind of new deals. I pay almost $68 a month for basic cable and there is about 30 of those channels I don't watch, so I'm being charged for channels I don't watch. When I call to ask if they can offer any deal on the net and cable they offer a price of $20.00 for net tacked onto their already over priced cable so that is NOT a deal. then the rep gets all snotty with me during the call about how they have nothing else to offer me. I told her I will likely be switching to an antennae she just said "Well, do what you need to" so COX does NOTHING to keep their customers. Since they are so indifferent I'm going to just cancel my cable and deal with plain Jane tv. I really wish we had more cable companies so they can give COX a run for their money. I don't know who they sucked to get their so called excellent customer service rating but I sure hope they enjoyed it.
