Over the phone, back in April of 2019, I agreed to a 2 year contract at $84 per month. I was also suppose to get a faster internet speed. Ever since then, my Cox bill has been over $100. I would never trust anything those liars say over the phone again. From now on, I want it on paper, in writing. Which government agency handles complaints from customers of Cox?

Signed up for new TV/Internet bundle. Quoted price: $89.99 plus state taxes/FCC surcharges. At time of signup, the exact amount of these taxes/surcharges could not be determined. I understand these charges, and on the first bill they total $7. This is NOT an issue....

we were overfilled for services we did not order and they will not refund --- it is incumbent on you to call them in 60 days and even then they prorate from the time you tell them. Very unethical company

I am seriously getting stacked at cox billing they are over billing me up to 450 month and now is issues of 645 and the payments of 100 or 80 every week is not enough there my most expensive bill and seriously thinking to cancel and get a pre paid lawyer to send them a letter how they are lying and sneaking charges and was told my bill will be 180 by sept and that's BS as long they keep getting me behind i will be stuck and only way to be unstuck is to cancel and pay off whatever is owes.

They flat out lie! Make up an internet plan and quote me the price which does not exist! Didn't change anything on my account but said it was all good to go. Got my bill and it is exactly the same with the same service that I was already getting. Who the heck runs this place? So the hour that I was on the phone with the *** was useless! And it was not the first time! Have always had problems with them charging me for service calls when it is their fault.. numerous times! The cable never runs good!! Why cant we get a cable internet service like Time Warner here in Omaha!!??!!! Cox flat out just sucks!

I have been a loyal customer for almost 18 years. My two year contract expired. My bill went from 153.00 to 210.00. I tried to negotiate a new rate. The best they could offer me was 180.00 as a loyal customer. They care more about new customers than loyal customers. I do not participate in easy pay. My credit card has been double charged multiple times this year by Cox. They don't know why it happens. I am working really hard to move my email accounts so that I can cancel my service with Cox. Cox needs to work on their customer focus and service.

Details
I was employed at the comm center in Omaha Ne. for over 10 years that got closed and all the jobs moved to Tulsa OK. They laid off everyone over 40 years old except one person and moved the younger people to different departments. So much for their diversity program. From what I have heard their customer service is far worse than it was before the "restructuring" and I know a lot of people that have stopped their service. I hope it was worth it. I know C-link appreciates all the new customers here in Omaha. It's kind of sad, I was a very dedicated employee but they are more interested in the bottom line than the customers or the employees.

Details
I did not had a service almost 2 and half hours today. when I called cox my call did not go through. Recording says call back. I called maybe more than 50 times. unfortunately did not work. I stopped all my work and try to call Cox. One and half hour later got connected and they told me they can recognized my phone number. I have to did my files to find my account number and lady told me we have outage in my area. I told her to credit my bill. She said she will transfer to the billing and they hang up my call. Again I spend 15 minutes to contact cox and finally they give my Dollar an change credit. Consumers think about this. This is the service you are execrating? Or the time to find out better company with good customer service. We all know that Cox is striking but try to stay with them. unfortunately that is a mistake we have been chosen.
