Cox Communications review in Tulsa, Oklahoma: Failed to bury cable
Since July 19, 2019 Cox has been unable to bury my replaced cable line. 6 plus techs have come out and they all say the same thing. We can’t do anything- we outsource the burial service. This is exactly why monopolies are a problem- no competition no service.

Overbilled, services dont work, techs can't fix problems. This company is like the mafia. No respect for it customers and rather than adjust our bill accordingly to match our missing service which we are still being charged for even though we can't use it they imply it is our fault and want to add more charges and make it near impossible to end our service with them. I STRONGLY CAUTION ANYONE AGAINST EVER DOING BUSINESS WITH COX COMMUNICATIONS.

Cox bumped my bill price without notice. When I called to change the bill back to the "promotional" price, they "couldn't change it" or offer any discounts, nor was there any way for her to change the bill as it stood. Not okay, Cox.

I contacted Cox to add internet service and set up an appointment for the following Saturday morning. I was later told that my credit didn't go through. I explained that could be to a fraud alert on my credit. I was told the quickest way to clear that up was to go to a Cox store. I explained that it would be an inconvenience as there wasn't one near me. Rep informed that it was too late in the day for it to be done on the phone and that going to the store was my option. I went to the store the next day and stood in line. The rep wasn't friendly and basically told me that he didn't know why I was directed to go there. He took my ID info and said everything was completed. This morning I call in an over an hour after the time frame I was given for them being here. I had a *** rep that told me I'd been contacted and that I never called back. I asked why wasn't a message left asking me to contact them. He said my phone didn't receive voicemails with an attitude! I told him that was a lie as I receive voicemails daily. Spoke to his supervisor who told me that I would have to go through verification again and they'd give me a new appointment. No empathy so I asked to speak to her supervisor and was told that it would take 24-48 hours and that they wouldn't speak with me unless I went through verification. Totally dismayed at the customer service level and lack of wanting to correct the problem in a timely manner. I would not be surprised if I don't receive a call from a supervisor.

Switched to cox on 3/11/19. When I signed up I was told my bill would be 175.93 per month.
Then they sent an e-mail that my bill was due in that amount. When I called to pay my bill the amount was 213.48. I paid that amount and called Cox.
I was told the due amount was 213.48 and my monthly bill would be 180.xx.Iwas told that 180.00 was the best they could doand the sales lady should have told me a rate increase was coming. I guess I'll be going to directv or back to at&t when my month is up.
