Cox Communications - Scamming at its finest
I have been a customer for over 13 years and I’ve never seen their rates fluctuate like they have been the past year. I was unaware that I was under a contract and when I decided that I wanted to only keep the internet I was told I have to pay a terminating fee. The company has zero communication skills; every representative tells you different things regarding your billing. The last manager I talked to was very rude and unwilling to understand so I paid the terminating fee and decided to take my business elsewhere. AVOID AT ALL COST
Cox Communications - A Bill that skyrockets for no reason
I have watched my Cox Communications bill rise twice in two months. There is no reason given, no breakdown of the cost, and zero notice. Worst of all no new service or faster speed to accompany the billing increases. What a terrible company. In the past I have contacted them when they do this, and negotiated some other deal. Why are cable signals not a utility? But inevitably Cox raises the rate like they did something new or added some unseen value to the signals they provide. Lame sauce with chunks.

Cox Communications - Monthly payment increased for no reason
I have visited 6771 Quail Hill Pkwy. Irvine, CA 92603 location last month. I wanted to return my COX Tv. They said that if I return it my monthly payment going to increase. They said I have a promotional rate of up to 2 years. And This month I received my bill $37 more. I contacted customer service and explain the situation. The customer representative was worse than the actual Cox Rep. in the store. They "DO NOT CARE" about customer's problems at all!!! Please stay away from them. I am going to cancel my service tomorrow.

Cox Communications - They overbill and do not give refund
we were overfilled for services we did not order and they will not refund --- it is incumbent on you to call them in 60 days and even then they prorate from the time you tell them. Very unethical company

after 6 months of paying my bill with an on file account, someone at COX messed with the account numbers. for 2 months they falsely returned payment and charged me late fees, FORCING me to add a credit card to the account. once the credit card number was entered they started charging 3 times in one month to the card. including $50 per transaction as late fees. WHAT THE *** this idiot on the phone said we wouldn't do that, then explain to me how an account all of a sudden won't process that has been processing for the past 6 months. SOME ONE AT COX DELIBERATELY CHANGED MY ACCOUNT NUMBER, CREATING A PAST DUE SITUATION. AGAIN WHAT THE ***
