OMG. Just got off the phone with Cox. They were fighting with me because I dropped my cable and phone. I heard everything from dont ever try to call 911 on your cell phone because they wont know where you are and Im trying to save your life to dont try to get cable again because youll never get these great discounts. And then quoted me 150 speed for $157.99. I asked for a breakdown and saw he included unlimited data at 59.99 because everyone gets it. He was downright nasty.

Tech found little of concern but replace cables to house from street. Then tested and proclaimed that all was working well.

overcharge. My cable on many channels said Sorry we are having problems on our end. Please try later. This went on for several days. I called cox and they gave me an appointment to check for an outage. I would have to wait 3 days for a technician to come and check it out. When he finally came, he did not come into my apartment. He said he was going to check the wires outside. Many of the tenants had the same problem. He found the problem and corrected it about an hour later. I am being charged $ 50.00 service charge. Are you crazy? the problem was on a pole. Was I supposed to fix it myself?

Bill was 69.99 per month went up to 95.00 and change, called customer service said she would put it back at 69.99 now getting email say total bill is 81.91 (really) what a liar. oh and get a new router box which should take care of the additional 25.00 increase. All of this when people have lost their jobs and or hours cut! Says a lot about cox!

Contour guide is horrible

Original remote was superior , could watch your show while checking what's on. Many advanced features contour doesn't have . Too pissed to list them. I could check what's on every channel for a 12 hour period in less than a minute. Now I can't even check 70 channels in the same amount of time . Plus screen was bright and bold. Now it's dark, faded , and showing info at bottom of screen that I don't need to see.

Unforgiving billing during covid pandemic

During such an unprecedented time - you would think that COX like most all other companies would give their customers a financial break Attempting to make arrangements with little to no income you will find they are near impossible - although they claim to not disconnect (WiFi and phone for business use ) they will not hesitate- Unfortunately there is no other alternative for services in our area - but shame on this company

During Covid 19 they are still turning off service to customers

I was trying to register for Unemployment during the Covid-19 pandemic and Cox turned off my service for non payment even after I already had spoken to them and explained that I had not received and stimulus for the care act or any unemployment yet . They also demanded that the full bill be paid in order to turn the service back on would not even give me a payment arrangement . I am going to pay my bill when I can and then change companies . I will never do business with them again . Cox is disgusting and I am going to write a complaint letter to the governor and the congressman in my area . Horrible way to treat customers .

Service termination

I am literally in tears because the way I was just treated by a representative just 15 minutes ago. She was extremely rude and insensitive and was condescending. Her attitude was unacceptable. I explained to this woman that my family and I are experiencing a hardship during this crisis. She was so very rude. I am humiliated. We are all struggling and this is how cox treats people. I asked cox to work with me as I work from home and my children attend online schooling. My services will be terminated tomorrow. Thank you cox.

Had a FABULOUS experience with Mick Sheehy

My husband could not get the TV in our Great Room to work. We called Cox and they said there were problems in the neighborhood. When they said the problems was fixed the TV still would not work. I called 1-Like855 219-9802 and got Mick Sheehy. He was better then WONDERFUL... a HUGE ASSEST to Cox. He tried a number to things and after figuring out it was the little box on the TV he got the TV to work. He was VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE, COUTEOUS and extremely helpful. Mick is in the Sand Diego market. NEVER let him leave. He was sooooo helpful. Bryna and Martin Smith

Poor customer service!!!!!

I have been trying for over an hour to get someone to help me.....talked to three different people (last one hung up on me when she was suppose to be transferring me to yet another department)...Been with Cox for 30 plus years....so dissatisfied!!! Just trying to pay my bill and having issues
