Cox Cable tried to get me to pay more at every instance starting with the installation, and even after I cancelled my service with them. Every customer service person told me something different.

Prices for services were all over the place. When I had signed up for their internet service, they were going to charge me $70 a month, but kept billing me $100 every few days, saying I was going over my data usage. I would call and they would so, "Oh sorry that was an error, but you can avoid another charge by going to the next plan up, which will cost you more." It ended up that they wanted to charge me $130.00 a month. When I called to cancel they argued with me and finally said they would only charge me $30.00 a month for the exact same service.


I am no longer with them, but they still send us bills and say we have service with them. Terrible customer service and always trying to take advantage of the customer.
