I was quoted basic internet at $29.95, so I told them to install it.The first bill was for $63 a month for slow internet.

When I called and asked them why the price more than doubled from what I was quoted, the rep said it was cancelled the day after I told them to install it, and then re-established for $63 a month. I asked the rep who cancelled it and why, and he said someone at COX cancelled it. The reps notes showed that I never even called COX the next day, or any time after I agreed to the install. They fraudulently cancelled my account, so they could set it back up at more than twice the rate I agreed to.

The first rep I spoke with said he could give me a $20 courtesy credit???

even though they just charged me $30 more than I was quoted.After many more calls, the issue is still not resolved, even though all the reps I spoke with acknowledged it was their mistake and shouldn't have happened.
