On August 1, 2014, I switched ISP's from Cox to ATT. Of course, I closed my Cox account. (or so I thought...) I did record the person's name: Daniel. But no last names or badge numbers were provided.

It should be noted that I've made 10 phone calls and spoke with at least 15 different people and still did not get resolution.

Cox Customer service was no help. Today, Oct. 9, I received a bill for the past due balance...my account has been charged regularly and now a bill is in collections. I was billed for August, September, and October and they added a fee of $25 for returned payment fee...I called my credit card company and stopped payments.

Fortunately, my documentation is complete about my experience.

I just want the bills to stop as I'm no longer a customer. I told Debbie, the CSR, that I'd relish the opportunity to explain my case to a judge. I believe that with my documentation, the judge will side with me on this absurd case.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Monetary Loss: $300.

Preferred solution: Stop the collection letters and get the account balance to ZERO..
